About this hunt

Guided duck hunt on private, well-managed marshes and ponds on Matagorda Bay — pintails, wigeons, teal, gadwalls, shovelers and a few mallards on the ponds; redheads, scaup and wigeons on the bay. We rotate ponds so hunting stays steady from opening day to close. Morning and afternoon hunts; groups of 4 shotgunners work best. Bring waders, camo, gun and shells — or gear up at Matagorda Outfitters in town. Lodging and meal packages available at the lodge. 50% deposit at reservation. Call for current rates.
