Set up your outfitter profile: basics

Business name (with a live outfitter-URL preview), contact email, phone, logo, and website — the first data step of onboarding.

The basics step — "First, let's set up your business" — is where your outfitter identity takes shape. Everything here feeds your public outfitter profile page.

  1. Type your Business name (required) — a preview below the field shows where your public page will live: "Your outfitter page will be live at birddogit.com/outfitters/your-name" in a green box once it's available.
  2. Enter your Contact email (required) — booking notifications go here.
  3. Enter your Contact phone — it formats itself as you type.
  4. Upload a Logo — it shows on your outfitter profile.
  5. Optionally enter your Website — it appears as a link on your public profile.
  6. Click Next to save and move to the address step.

The URL slug is derived from your business name — there's no separate field to edit it. If the slug is taken, a red box tells you ("…is taken — add a distinguishing word to your business name") and Next stays disabled until it's unique.
