Search the marketplace by location

Type a place name in the search bar to get a split list-and-map results view, then pan and zoom the map to refine.

The search bar at the top of the marketplace searches by place — a state or region works best (the Where field reads Search states or species, so game works too). Searching opens the results view: listing cards on the left, a map of price pins on the right.

  1. Open birddogit.com/marketplace and click the search bar — on mobile, tap Start your search.
  2. Type a place name (for example, Texas or Colorado) in Where and press Enter, or click Search.
  3. Review the results — cards on the left, pins on the map to the right. The count line reads something like "12 hunts matching your search."
  4. Pan and zoom the map to refocus; the list updates to favor listings inside the map area ("N hunts within map area").
  5. Click a card to open the listing. Click a price pin for a quick preview card, then click through from there.

If very few listings sit inside the map area, the list keeps showing everything with in-view hunts floated to the top — you're never left staring at an empty column. If nothing matches the search itself, you'll see That dog won't hunt. above a wider set of suggestions — see What 'That dog won't hunt' means.
