Navigating the BirdDog app

A complete reference for finding every section — home cards, header nav, bottom nav, and host nav.

BirdDog organizes its features into a handful of clear sections. Here's how to get to each one, on web and mobile.

The home page cards

The home page presents two card paths: one for hunters (browse the marketplace, book hunts, manage trips) and one for landowners (claim land, earn income, host experiences). Tap a card to dive into that side.

Header nav (desktop web)

  1. Marketplace — the search and browse experience at /marketplace.
  2. Bookings — your My bookings page with Upcoming, Requests, and Past tabs.
  3. Hosting — the host dashboard (Today, Bookings, Listings, Business).
  4. Earnlease income, listings, inquiries, and payouts.
  5. User menu (top-right avatar) — Settings, Saved, Log out.

Bottom nav (mobile)

  1. Home — the card-based landing page.
  2. Marketplace — browse and search listings.
  3. Bookings — your trips and requests.
  4. Saved — hearted listings.
  5. More / Profile — Settings, Hosting, Earn, and Log out.

Marketplace header

Inside the marketplace, the header adds search and filter controls — species, date range, price range, guest count, and the map toggle. The heart icon on any listing card saves it to your Saved page.

Host nav

Inside Hosting (/host), a secondary nav gives you Today, Calendar, Listings, Messages, and Menu — the menu holds Earnings, Bookings, Create a new listing, Your business, Browse the marketplace, and Back to my account. Until your outfitter profile is complete, the gated items stay hidden — finish setup from the Today checklist first. Earn (/earn) mirrors this with Overview, Listings, Inquiries, and Payouts tabs.
