Create your account or sign in

One page handles both: sign in with Google, or enter an email and we'll send you a single-use sign-in link.

There's no separate signup screen — the login page is headed "Log in or create an account" and handles both. (If you land on /signup, it redirects here.)

  1. Open the login page.
  2. Tap Continue with Google to sign in or create an account with your Google email in one tap — no password, no verification email.
  3. Or enter your email address and tap Continue with email to get a sign-in link sent to your inbox.
  4. Tap the link in the "Check your email" message within 30 minutes — it's single-use. You're signed in; if the email was new, your account is created at that moment.

Returning users who set a password can tap Sign in with a password instead on the same page. You don't need a password to use BirdDog — the email link works every time.

First time in? A Welcome to Birddog. dialog confirms "Signed in as {your email}" and asks for your First name, Last name, and an optional Phone number ("Hosts and land offices can reach you about your trips.") — the initials avatar previews as you type. Tap Continue and you're in. It can't be dismissed until your name is set.
