Inquire about a lease as a hunter/leasee

Open a lease on the marketplace, click Inquire about this lease, and start a conversation with the landowner.

Looking for season-long access to land? You're a leasee. Leases live on the marketplace alongside per-trip hunts, and reaching the landowner takes one form.

  1. Open birddogit.com/marketplace?type=lease, or click the Leases tab on the marketplace.
  2. Tap a lease card to open its detail page — annual price per season, acreage, About this lease, and Things to know.
  3. Click Inquire about this leaseInquire on mobile. You're handed off to the inquiry form on teddy.birddogit.com.
  4. Write your opening message — introduce yourself, what you're looking for, and any questions about the land or terms.
  5. Click Send inquiry. The conversation opens in your Messages, and the landowner's replies land in the same thread.

Not signed in? The form asks for your First name, Last name, and Email and creates a free BirdDog account for you when you send — no password to invent. If that email already has an account, you'll get a sign-in link instead; open it and send your inquiry from there.

Once you and the lessee agree on terms, lease payments run through Birddog — installments are tracked on your Payouts tab. Keep the conversation on BirdDog so there's a record.
