Post an experience: the listing wizard

The posting wizard asks one question per step — pick a template, answer what it can't assume, review, and publish — with autosaving drafts.

The listing wizard at Post an experience builds a marketplace listing one question per step. A "Step X of Y" counter and a three-segment progress bar track where you are, and every answer autosaves — leave mid-wizard and the draft resumes where you stopped.

Pick a template

  1. Answer "How do guests book this hunt?" by picking the card that matches what you sell — A single day, One animal, several trip lengths (badged Most common), A multi-species package, Build Your Own Hunt, A hunt with stay options, or The whole place — each card shows a tagline and an example price.
  2. Click Continue to start that template's flow — the wizard then asks only what your pick can't assume.

Answer the questions

  1. Species comes first in every template flow — your title and description are drafted from it, so you never write them from scratch.
  2. Later steps depend on the template: trip lengths and per-length prices, session and guidance for day hunts, an itinerary for combo trips, animal price lists for build-your-own, and photos on every flow.
  3. For a single-species day hunt, the season step is required — pick Use the regulated season, Year-round, or Custom dates before you can continue ("Required — the season gates which dates guests can book."). Deposit and meals (on stay templates) are simple card choices on the packages step.
  4. Land resolves silently in template flows — you confirm where guests will hunt at the end instead of picking a parcel up front. (Lease and custom listings run the full generic question set, including land, title, and description.)

Review and publish

  1. Check the last step, One last look — edit the drafted title and description, confirm where guests will hunt, and set the pre-publish options (cancellation policy, Kids welcome).
  2. Click Publish listing — it reads "Publishing…" while it works — and you land on your Listings page with the listing live in the marketplace.

Add at least one photo — the photos step won't let you past without one. Photos are the one thing drafts don't keep: a resumed draft re-asks for them at that step.

Unfinished wizards wait on the Drafts tab of your Listings page as resumable cards. See Manage your listings for resuming and discarding drafts.
