Grant search: picking your property
Step 0 of a grant search — choose which claimed parcel the search is for, or jump in deep-linked from a parcel page.
Every grant search is tied to a specific parcel — that's how we match you to programs that fit your land's acreage, location, and characteristics. You can start from the Land Savings page, or deep-link straight in from a parcel page.
Starting from Savings
- Sign in and open /savings, then tap the Grants & Cost-Shares card to go to /savings/grants.
- Tap Start a grant search — the property step loads first.
- The property step shows a card for each parcel you've claimed — label, acres, county, and state.
- Click the card for the parcel this search is for. The selected card gets a highlighted border.
- Tap Continue at the bottom to begin the questions.
Deep-linking from a parcel page
If you're already looking at a parcel, you can skip the selection step entirely. Open the parcel's Potential panel, tap Grants, and you'll jump into a grant search with ?parcel=id in the URL — the property is pre-selected and you land straight on the first question.
Don't see the parcel you want? You need to claim it first. The property step only lists parcels linked to your account.
Save & exit
Tap Save & exit at any point — even here on step 0 — and your draft is saved to Your grant searches. The Continue button on that list resumes exactly where you left off, property and all answers intact.
